Mr Henri Danon has over 20 years of experience in the ICT ecosystem, business, and the public and private sectors in the digital industry. He holds two Officer distinctions in (i) the Order of Merit of the Civil Service and (ii) the Order of Merit of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy. He started out as a project manager for the development of the National e-Agriculture strategy for Côte d’Ivoire, he produced, with a team of national experts, the National e-Agriculture Strategy Document (DSN e-Agriculture) in 2012.
He was responsible for leading long negotiations with the World Bank to prepare the Digital Solutions project for opening up Rural Areas and e-Agriculture (PSNDEA), a result of the DSN e-Agriculture, from 2013. At the start of the implementation of the PSNDEA, Henri Danon was appointed Coordinator of the PSNDEA project, which he led till the project execution in the ten targeted regions of the country in March 2020.
Afterwards, he was appointed the deputy director in charge of planning and monitoring of projects and deputy director in charge of ‘economy digital. To date, he leads negotiations for new projects with bilateral donors. than with private landlords.
