Professor DIBI N’Da Hyppolite is a senior lecturer at the FHB University and the FHB National Polytechnic Institute in Yamoussoukro. He has more than 16 years of experience in the use of earth observation data for mapping and monitoring natural resources in Côte d’Ivoire and in the West African sub-region. He is in charge of the Master’s degree course in Remote Sensing, Land and Ecosystem Management (AGTE), and is in charge of the research team Tropical Landscape and Ecosystem Dynamics at the Laboratory of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (CURAT).
He is the author of more than fifty scientific publications and a consultant for numerous international and sub-regional institutions, including FAO, UNDP, African Union/GMES and Africa; NGOs like Afrique Nature International, Biotope, IMPACTUM; public structures such as the Ministry of the Environment, SEP REDD, Ministry of Water and Forests; and private firms in the monitoring and mapping of natural resources.
